One of my first posts on this blog was about paper inspired by the search for Aimee lee. In the case of Korean artist was interesting to learn about the history of paper production, in this case I want to show you Debbie Vijskamp designer that creates durable furniture only with paper.

Also this time we talk about paper and furniture but with an eye to Western culture and more specifically in Northern Europe.

We move in Holland with the designer Debbie Wijskamp. Like many Nordic designers, Wijskamp is particularly focused on using different materials trying to experiment and find new forms of expression for design.

The paper is the classic material, as we have seen repeatedly, that offers a world of possibilities to experience and seems never ending surprise for many shapes can take. For anyone involved in design today the issue of recycling and environmental sustainability are at first place but unfortunately the bulk limit sometimes is the unmarketable product both aesthetic reasons that economic.

The challenge is not just for a young designer who wants to get into the circuit of companies.

Debbie Vijskamp showed that can give rise to interesting and useful ideas, intelligent and creative. Designer, in fact, is inspired by the cultures that furnished (and furnish) their living spaces with materials that belong to own environment. In this case with the recycling of a material like paper has created its own design material.
