The Stylize filters every pictures made with the phone are beautiful and sometimes especially suited to the type of subject, but the real study of photography and composition of a set cannot even remotely be compared to a mobile phone, although avant garde. A perfect example of this lack of comparison is the collection of photographs taken by Bill Gekas.

The Australian photographer has portrayed its little daughter of 5 years with a style reminiscent of a lot of the paintings of the Flemish school, worthy of an extraordinary Vermeer.

The self-taught photographer started shooting with film 35 mm then switch to digital in 2005, with a remarkable result especially as regards the use of light.
