Today I present Jun Kumaori, Japanese artist who portrays teenage students from the air thoughtful very nostalgic, with a deep passion for the curiosity and exploration of the world. Many of her paintings mention of classical painters and styles are inspired by artists like Monet and Gustav Klimt.

“Felicitas est parvus canis calidus – Happiness is a warm puppy “

So said Charles Schulz, in one of his Peanuts famous strips. Sometimes happiness comes really as warm puppy, Sometimes it looks more like a bathroom in a giant bowl of soup with vegetables. For someone happiness is like to walk in the company of various animals including an oversize anteater.

It can be. Never impose limits to Divine Providence.

The illustrations of this artist involve me much, Some are dark and deeply nostalgic with heavy and somber tones, while in other cases are extremely lively and colorful, but the element that persists in both cases is the melancholy.

What I know, and what I feel, is that a look of drawings by the artist from Kyoto is the equivalent to squeeze into a speech already started, her character has an air to exist regardless of the framework.

I like the idea of this girl absorbed, surrounded by animals, that doesn't suffer loneliness but probably search for it. It would be something new.
